Our body has a system of neurotransmitters which are also called chemical messengers. These neurotransmitters are responsible to transmit signals carrying emotions or other feelings to various parts of the brain. Our taste sensitivity is heightened and exalted by the neurotransmitters targeted by antidepressant drugs and as a result we lose appetite.
