What is the value of the rational expression 2x+1/x2 when x = 5?

[tex] \dfrac{2x + 1}{ {x}^{2} } \\ = \dfrac{2(5) + 1}{ {5}^{2} } \\ = \dfrac{11}{25} [/tex]

Answer is 11/25.

Just plug it in!
2(5)+1/(5)2
So 1/5*2=2/5
then 2*5=10 so
10 2/5
I'm think; the fraction is quite confusing because I'm not sure whether it is (1/x)2 or 1/(x2). 
 I solved for (1/x)2.
