It is an active type of a sentence, in active sentence, the verb used is in present tense and is direct in giving out information. In passive type of voices, the meaning of the subject is indirect, with comma, or uses ‘by’ or in this case ‘with’. Here, the verb used is past, if the sentence is changed into passive form of the sentence, it could be: The e-mail message that you sent us was received by both Lee and I.
