The Battle of Gettysburg was a very significant battle in the Civil War. This is because since the Civil War was about trying to figure out if slavery should be abolished or not, it changed our views on our fellow American citizens. It showed us that we shouldn't be killing each other due to the color of our skin. It showed us that all men are created equal.
