slope-intercept form: y = mx + b

we know what format we need to change the equation to.

subtract 12x to each side to get 10y alone.

12x - 12x + 10y = 100 - 12x

10y = -12x + 100

divide 10 to both sides to get y alone.

10/10y = -12/10x + 100/10

y = -6/5x + 10
