The slope is defined as

[tex]m=\dfrac{\Delta y}{\Delta x}=\dfrac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}[/tex]

So, we have

[tex]m=1=\dfrac{15-y}{11-3} \iff \dfrac{15-y}{8}=1 \iff 15-y=8 \iff y=15-8=7[/tex]
