To convert Fahrenheit to Celsius, you have to do:

[tex] C \° = (F \° - 32\°) \times\frac{5}{9} [/tex]

Put in the number(s) into the formula:

[tex] C\° = (37\° - 32\°) \times \frac{5}{9} [/tex]

Subtract:

[tex] 37\°-32\° = 5\° [/tex]

Now multiply by [tex] \frac{5}{9} [/tex]

[tex] 5 \times \frac{5}{9} =\frac{25}{9} = 2 \frac{7}{9} \° \rightarrow 2.7778 \° = 2.8 \°[/tex]

Your answer is 2.7778° ⇔  2.8° ⇔ 2 7/9°
